Wine novices, fans and experts alike recently gathered for an evening of wine tasting and fund raising at Kambaku Golf Club in Komatipoort, Mpumalanga.

Hosted by Superspar Komatipoort, the event was organised to raise money for the Komatipoort Akademie’s 2019 Matric Farewell Committee.

Attendee’s were captivated by the special guest speaker, our very own Senior Winemaker, Reinier van Greunen.

Reinier led guests through a Namaqua wine tasting and shared some interesting facts regarding our heritage range and the intricate winemaking process that goes into creating each bottle of our iconic wines. 
An auction was also held to raise further funds, with Ms Louise Bezuidenhout bidding a groundbreaking R9000 for a limited edition, 3 litre bottle of Spencer Bay, The Blend wine.
